Non Scheduled Language

India is a multicolored fabric of cultures, languages, and customs. Major languages are widely known, but India is also home to many lesser-known languages that are referred to as "Non-Scheduled Languages." The Indian Constitution does not formally recognize these languages as Scheduled Languages, which are accorded certain safeguards and official status at the national level. These non-scheduled languages are essential to maintaining India's linguistic diversity and cultural legacy, even though they are not officially recognized. These languages often have their own literature, script, and cultural significance.

Promoting and preserving non-scheduled languages are being worked on through projects including language documentation, educational programs, and cultural festivals to support their official recognition.
